Tunisian Crochet: Working in the Round

Join us to learn how to work Tunisian Crochet in the round while making these fun an quick mitts!

One two hour class

Skills needed: This class is rated “funky” – ability to single crochet and chain is required.

  • How to use a double-ended hook
  • Tunisian simple stitch
  • Working Tunisian in the round
  • Reading a Tunisian Crochet pattern

Materials:

  • Approximately 120 yrds of 2 different colored yarns in fingering weight yarn: total of 240 yards.  For desired effect in pattern, one yarn should be highly variegated and one semi-solid or solid.  Make sure yarn is sturdy and not too fuzzy so you can see your stitches. We recommend Spud and Chloe Fine and Spud and Chloe Stripey.
  • US H 5 mm Tunisian double-ended crochet hook
  • Locking stitch marker
  • Pen or pencil
