Materials:
- Fingering weight yarn in the following amounts – Main Color (MC): 130 yards, Contrast Color A (CA) 30 yards, Contrast Color B (CB) 30 yards
- US#2 (2.75 mm) and US#2.5 (3 mm) double pointed needles or circular needles to work in the round
- Stitch markers
- Copy of Maroo Mitts pattern, available on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/maroo-mitts)
Homework:
Note: we will be making an adaptation of the mitts with patterning at both the wrist and hand.
Work the following directions, from pattern, before class:
With MC and smaller needles, CO 40 [48, 56] sts. Place marker and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.
Ribbing: *K1, p1; rep to end. Work 4 more rounds of ribbing.
